Congress dates

1-2 October 2010 (Friday & Saturday)

 

We welcome all acupuncturists, TCM practitioners, physicians, health professionals, students, researchers and educators to join this unique congress.

Notification of acceptance abstract  1 June 2010

Official language

The official language of the congress will be English. However, during the plenary session and parallel session B simultaneous interpretation will be available in both Chinese and English.

 

Accreditation

The congress is accredited by

  • Dutch Medical Acupuncture Association (NAAV)
  • Dutch Acupunture Association (NVA)
  • Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Netherlands (VTCGN)
  • Dutch Association for Traditional Chinese Medicine ZHONG

 

Certificate of attendance

You can collect your certificate at the registration desk on Saturday 2 October after the lunch break.
Please be informed: certificates can only be collected on Saturday afternoon.
Certificates will not be sent after the congress.

 

Registration desk

The registration desk in the World Forum will be open on: 

  • Thursday 30 September from 17.30am – 19.00pm
  • Friday 1 October and Saturday 2 October from 08.00am – 17.30am

 

The congress secretariat (NewBrooklyn) will be available at the World Forum to assist you during the congress.

 

Venue

WCCM 2010 will take place at the World Forum. The World Forum is located in The Hague’s international zone. This combination of a multifunctional auditorium/theatre and diverse break-out areas renders the World Forum the ideal venue for the 2010 WCCM congress. Non-Smoking policy

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside in the World Forum. Smokers are kindly required to smoke outdoors. The general smoking policy in The Netherlands is that smoking is prohibited in restaurants and bars.

 

Parking facilities

The World Forum has ample on-site parking capacity. Exit passes are available from the ticket machines in the central entrance lobby and at the entrance to the car park.

Public transport

The World Forum is just a short distance from various airports, stations and motorways. From the Amsterdam International Airport you can reach the World Forum Convention Center by train. The Hague is 30 minutes away by train from the airport. The Hague Central Station (Den Haag Centraal) is within walking distance from the city center. From the Hague Central Station (CS), take either tram no. 17 and get off at the Statenplein stop or take tram no. 10 and get off at the World Forum stop to get to the World Forum.

 

Note: Tram 10 only operates on working days during the rush-hour from 7.00am until 9.00am and

from 15.30am 18.30pm.
