Dear friends,

The 7th World Congress of Chinese Medicine (WCCM) will be held in the World Forum in The Hague on 1-2 October 2010. On behalf of the Organizing Committee we would like to invite our TCM colleagues, worldwide, to attend this event.

The Annual World Congress of Chinese Medicine is a global event for Chinese medicine. After its establishment in 2003, the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), the highest academic platform for Chinese Medicine Societies, attracted hundreds of experts and scholars and representatives from 56 countries and regions on behalf of 186 TCM societies worldwide, and it has successfully organized six congresses in Beijing, Paris, Toronto, Singapore, Macau, and Melbourne. The World Congress of Chinese Medicine is the international academic platform for exchanging clinical experiences, broadening academic horizons and inspiring further development in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

The theme of this congress is “The Clinical Practice and Scientific Research of Chinese Medicine”, which fully reflects the needs and development of traditional Chinese medicine in the Netherlands and other European countries. The clinical practice is the foundation of existing and developing Chinese medicine, while scientific research is the supporting force. The topics of presentations and workshops range from the study of TCM fundamental theory, clinical experiences and scientific study of herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, tuina therapy and medical qigong, to the setting of standards for higher education and scientific study, the development of a global strategy of Chinese medicine, and legislation of Chinese medicine, etc. The treatment of andrological diseases, infertility and the application of herbal medicine will be the focal points. The lectures and reports from many of the world-renowned Chinese medicine experts and scholars will be most interesting, and your personal participation will definitely contribute to painting, as it were, this scroll of Chinese medicine.

We look forward to meeting you in the Hague in October 2010!
